Tonia Larem (an anagram of "I am not real") is the name of an on-going investigation into online identity. Hers is an open-source personality: I make the username and password to her Facebook account freely available to let anybody participate under an assumed identity and with complete anonymity. I am by no means responsible for what Tonia does on facebook (some of which I disagree with) but I have used her for a number of real-life exhibitions and encourage others to use her in online and real-life situations when a fictional character is appropriate.
